Summer Art & Book Series Camp (Ages 4-6 years)

In this four week art class series, your child will learn about textures, colors, and use different types of art media to create group and solo projects. Join us for all four weeks or select your favourite book and join us those weeks only. These projects will be based on four books either written by Maine authors, or that tell a story that takes place in Maine. Over the course of the class, attendees will be given the opportunity to practice valuable skills such as using scissors, tracing, painting, gluing, working together, problem solving and more, all while having fun!

Week Three- Camping Spree with Mr. Magee

In week three, our book is Camping Spree with Mr. Magee is a book about a man and his dog who go camping for a night, and there are adventures around every corner. To tie our projects into this fun book filled with rhymes, we will make tissue paper campfires, binoculars to spot any critters, and make a special treat for the critters at your own homes.
