Join us for all four weeks or select your favourite book and join us those weeks only. These projects will be based on four books either written by Maine authors, or that tell a story that takes place in Maine. Over the course of the class, attendees will be given the opportunity to practice valuable skills such as using scissors, tracing, painting, gluing, working together, problem solving and more, all while having fun!

Week Two- Miss Rumphius
Description- In week two, we will read Miss Rumphius, which is yet another book that many locals have probably grown up reading. It talks about the natural beauty of our great state, with a special focus on the lupines that pepper the coast. We will make two different types of lupines, one being a group project and the other will encourage your children to get creative with colorful buttons. We’ll also make our own little homes out of popsicle sticks and talk about what your child would do/does to make the world a more beautiful place.
