Discover the joy of sewing in this hands-on summer camp! Students will learn the essentials of operating a sewing machine, threading a bobbin, using an iron safely, and reading patterns — all while creating unique, handmade projects. Campers will make a potpourri sachet, a pencil pouch, and either a drawstring bag or a cozy pillow if time allows, building practical skills and confidence along the way. This camp is perfect for beginners and budding young designers who want to create one-of-a-kind items, learn safe sewing techniques, and explore their creativity in a fun, supportive environment.
