In this creative 1-week class, students will explore both jewelry making and printmaking. They'll begin by learning jewelry-making techniques such as wire-wrapping (with alternative beadwork options for younger students) to create their own necklaces, bracelets, and keychains. The second half of the week will focus on printmaking, where students will carve their own stamps from soft carving blocks. They'll design and carve unique patterns or images, which they’ll then use to create prints on paper and fabric. Students can even turn their prints into wearable art by designing custom T-shirts. By the end of the week, students will have a collection of handmade jewelry, prints, and wearable art to showcase their creativity!
