PRELUDE - Paint and Sip - Saturday, December 7 (4-6pm)

Enjoy a Prelude activity painting and socializing with friends while sipping wine. Channel your inner Van Gogh as we paint a Kennebunkport starry holiday canvas. Local artist Marguerite Genest will guide you through the step by step process of developing your composition, colors and technique,using acrylic paints on a stretched 9 x 12” canvas which will be a keepsake. Artist bio: 

Marguerite Genest, Ed.D.,originally from Western MA, is a Kennebunk resident. She is a retired counselor of children and families in clinics and private schools in MA and Southern Maine. As an artist, living on the coast of Maine provides her with endless opportunities for painting seascapes and portraits. But her background in education continues to inspire her love of art, as she holds open studio art classes at the Center in Kennebunk, and teaches paint and Sip classes in various locations in the Kennebunk area. She collaborates with Winehouse on Main in Kennebunk to create events where participants can gather for socializing and painting works of art while sipping wines.
